Carmen Kaufman, Physician Assistant with Fox Valley Cardiovascular Consultants, and Alex Pope, VP & Chief Development Office at Rush-Copley Medical Center, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony with children at SciTech Hands On Museum in Aurora. The event marked the opening of the new interactive Healthy Heart Exhibit. This fun display shows children how to stay healthy and allows them to see a virtual model of what a heart looks like beating before and after exercise. This project was funded with a Fit for Kids grant and was a collaboration between SciTech & Rush Copley Medical Center.
